What is QBCORE:
The QBCORE Framework was released in July 2021. The framework is maintained by myself, Kakarot on Discord and a couple of others. Some of the code has been used from the well-known ESX framework and has been licensed accordingly. The framework has become very popular with a lot of roleplay servers. There is a licence and is as follows: This program is free software: you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation, either version 3 of the License or (at your option) any later version. Getting Started:
The easiest way to get started with a QBCore server is to use the txAdmin recipe built into their platform! To begin setting up your server you can refer to Windows Installation or Linux Installation. If you have more questions about txAdmin then feel free to join their discord. You can follow the installation guide on their qbcore documentation website or you can follow my server setup guide. You might come across another website where developers are selling a qbcore server with custom resources for a price of £50 or more. The problem with that is the server resources will be out of date by four to six months and will contain content that is stolen from other server developers who have paid for their content. It’s okay if the server has leaked content given to a person for free but no person is allowed to resell the content under the licence agreements. Another problem you might encounter is malware in those files or a virus allowing a hacker access to your server remotely. They will then have access to your server as well as your folders like paid resources that some bad developers will steal. Some are known to change your password locking you out of your server and then keeping it for their own use. It’s better to learn yourself or ask a trusted developer. I will give you plenty of support and help for free from my Discord server. You can also subscribe to my YouTube channel and watch my video tutorials. Sometimes I am live on YouTube and will try to help via the live chat if possible. You will notice that my server when shown live is a local server because it’s my local server running Windows Server 2019. That’s why you see files and folders being uploaded very fast. When I am working on a server the development server is on my computer the other is just a preview server only. I work on my server as a hobby for something to do in my spare time and that is all it is to me. I have joined other roleplay servers in the past and find it too much with the owners treating their servers like a business and being power-hungry. That’s not for me at my age so will not join any more servers. I do sometimes play about on my own server with others now and again but that’s about it. I am not power-hungry and very relaxed with the rules but will kick or ban people who troll others to spoil it for everyone.
